Paste Objects

Various methods are available to paste objects onto the drawing canvas that have been copied to the clipboard.

Paste New

Use the functionality to create a copy of the item with a new tag and empty or default attribute values.

Paste Duplicate

Use the functionality to create a copy of the item with a new tag and duplicated attribute values.

Paste Graphics

Use the functionality to create a graphical copy of the item linked to the same tag with duplicated attribute values.

Paste Objects

When pasting objects using the Paste New, Paste Duplicate or Paste Graphics commands, the functionality is identical.

The prompt Specify point is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the base point relative to which the objects are pasted.

The objects are pasted to the identified position from the clipboard and the command ends automatically.
