User management

Select User management to view Users, Groups, Roles, and Imports.

Users

Select Users to display the Users list. This can be filtered by username.

Select + Add user to display the Add user window.

Complete the fields and Save.

Note: Users can belong to more than one group.

Groups

Groups are created using + Add group or selected in existing groups. They can be filtered by group name.

Complete the fields and click Save,

Roles

For Name allocation manager, the following three roles are available:

The Config administrator - The role operates at folder level. Users can control Naming rules, Rule sets and Scopes.

The Scope administrator - The role operates at Scope level. Users can control the Name contexts within a Scope.

The Name allocation manager User - The role operates at Scope level. Users can read, allocate and deallocate Names within a Scope.

Roles can be filtered by service, folder, group, or a combination of the three. A user can be assigned multiple roles directly or indirectly through groups.

To assign a role, select + Assign role. This displays the Assign role window which defaults to Service role.

Complete the fields and Save.
