Verify connection from the PLC to PI Connector for EtherNet/IP

Check the data source connection to PI Connector for EtherNet/IP using the Studio 5000 Logix Designer (version 21 and later) configuration tool.
Note: Beginning with version 21, the RSLogix 5000 application tool has been renamed Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
To check the data source connection:

Open the Studio 5000 Logix Designer application and select Communication > Go Online to open the Controller Organizer window.

To display the module status, double-click the bridge or module to open the Module Properties window.

Verify the module connected successfully to the connector by reviewing the status displayed in the lower left corner.
Status can have one of the following values:

Waiting
The module is waiting to connect to the connector.

Running
The module is connected and the connector is collecting data.

Faulted
The module failed in its attempt to connect to the connector.
In the event of a faulted connection, an error code is displayed, indicating the reason for the failure. The connector continues its attempts to connect to the module.

Offline
The module is offline. To set the module to online mode, select Communication > Go Online.

To view a list of all assemblies configured for the connector, browse to the Overview page for the connector on the PI Connectors Administration Site page and locate the Data sources for the PI Connector for EtherNet/IP area.
All assemblies are listed and show a status of either Connected or Disconnected.
