Adjustments on Limits in Hull Design

On a selected panel defined by model limits, you can adjust the limit in the Properties grid.
Select the limit of panel in the 3D View or in the Model Explorer which is defined by a plane or another model.
Note: To select the limits graphically, turn on the Brackets icon in the Visibility group of the Hull Design tab.
The applications displays the Adjustments line in Properties grid.

Select the arrow icon to display the dropdown list.

Offset |
Defines an offset from the limit on the panel and displays further options.

Offset |
Enter an Offset value in mm. |
|
|
Offset direction |
Defines the offset direction. For more information, see Direction Concept. |
|
|
Overlap |
Defines an overlap to the limit on the panel.
The plate’s position is adjusted relative to the panel as required.

Overlap |
Enter an Overlap value in mm. |
|
|
Full overlap |
Defines a full overlap to the limit on the panel.
The application determines the overlap value using the height of the profile to overlap. |
