Splice Section at Panel Intersection

Splices sections at a panel intersection.
On the Sections tab, in the Modify group, select Splice.
You are prompted to Select element(s) to splice
Note:
The prompt does not display if the section element is already selected.
Click to identify a section to splice.
You are prompted to Select element(s) to splice or <Next>
Note:
The prompt does not display if the section element is already selected.
The prompt is repeated, allowing you to identify multiple sections to splice.
Input N at the prompt and press Enter to specify the splice point.
You are prompted to Select panel to splice with or <Plane (1 point)>
Click to identify an intersecting panel to define a splice point.
The sections are spliced at the intersecting panel points.
Throughout the splice process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Press the down arrow key and select Plane (1 point) to splice a section using a plane defined by one picked point. Refer to Splice Section using a Plane for further information. |
