Assumptions

This document assumes that AVEVA NET Gatekeeper or AVEVA Change Manager have been installed and deployed by following the instructions provided in the AVEVA NET Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager Installation Guide. To upgrade to the latest version of AVEVA NET Gatekeeper or AVEVA Change Manager refer to AVEVA NET Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager Installation Guide.

Prerequisites

In preparation for using AVEVA NET Gatekeeper or AVEVA Change Manager you have to fulfill the following prerequisites:

• Class Library is uploaded into AVEVA NET Gatekeeper or AVEVA Change Manager and it contains the definitions for the required Assets.

• Reference Data are available: Assets, Systems, Disciplines, Areas.

• Web Config file located in the following folder is modified:

  C:\WDA.Applications\TechInfo Manager\5.0.11\Gatekeeper\Customer\Website

• Application Profile (Owner Domain) is configured:

  <Application Folders>\Customer\OwnerDomain\Config\TIM.ApplicationFactory.xml

• Application Profile (Application Domain) is configured:

  <Application Folders>\ApplicationDomain\Config\TIM.ApplicationFactory.xml

• WDA System Application configuration file is modified:

  TIM.WDA.SystemApplication.Config.xml
