This setting enables/disables Reference Data Management for Assets in AVEVA NET Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager. There are limited numbers of entities that can be managed through built-in Reference Data Management, such as Systems, Areas, Contractors and Disciplines. The management capabilities are limited, too, such as create or update. It is not possible to delete the unused reference data using this feature. Sometimes, the reference data may be managed in the AVEVA Information Standards Manager using the Import Controller.
