Install Common Files

Review the following guidelines before starting the Common Files Installer:

• Installation Directory

  • The default installation directory is: C:\Program Files\AVEVA\WDA.Applications.

To install AVEVA NET Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager common files ensure that you have the administrator privileges:

1. Right-click the AVEVA NET Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager.msi and select Run as administrator to run the installer.

   Follow the instructions in the Windows Installer window.

   Note: Common Files is a mandatory part of the application.

   

After you have installed AVEVA NET Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager Common Files, you must cross-check if the default installation folder contains the WDA.Applications folder. For example: C:\Program Files\AVEVA\WDA.Applications. The WDA.Applications folder contains the Deployer.exe. Along with the Deployer, you can find the template files, which are typically installed in the C:\Program Files\AVEVA\WDA.Applications\Deployer\Templates folder location.
