Archive

The historical record of time-series data maintained by AVEVA PI Server. This term may be used to refer to the entire logical data record itself, a specific archive file, or the subsystem responsible for actively hosting the historical data record. Also used to refer to the act of putting data into PI Server for the purpose of logging time-series events.
