The component of the PI Data Archive that loads, validates, and maintains license information required for the PI Server and all connected PI System applications. It verifies machine signature details, enforces license limits, and provides licensing services to other subsystems during startup and operation. The subsystem runs as the PI License Manager service (pilicmgr.exe) and is essential for Data Archive initialization and continued operation.
