PI Identities

Security principals used by the PI Data Archive to control access to data, points, and administrative functions. They represent users or groups within the PI system and can be mapped to Windows accounts, Windows groups, or PI Trusts. PI Identities are managed in PI System Management Tools, where administrators configure permissions and security associations.
