PI Software Development Kit (PI SDK)

A legacy Windows-based software library that enables custom applications to read and write data to the PI Data Archive. PI SDK provides programmatic access to PI points, snapshot values, and archived events, along with methods for performing data updates and executing basic system queries. It has been superseded in most modern development scenarios by the AF SDK and PI Web API, which support newer authentication models and cross-platform development.
