PI Interface

Software that connects a PI System to an external data source and transfers data into the PI Data Archive. It collects values from field devices, control systems, applications, or protocols, then converts that data into a format the PI System can store and use. PI Interfaces run on an interface node and rely on configuration files managed through PI ICU or manual configuration tools.
