PI identity

A security principal used by the PI Data Archive to authorize access to PI objects for authenticated users. Introduced in PI Server 3.4.380 and later, PI identities represent users or groups within the PI system and can be associated with Windows accounts, Windows groups, or PI Trusts. Administrators assign permissions to PI identities to control access to data and administrative functions.
