Common fields in the screen

Field	Description
SI	Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.
Defined By	The ID of a user who created a record.
Defined At	The date and time when a record was created.
Updated By	The ID of a user who updated a record.
Updated At	The date and time when a record was updated.

Material Classification grid

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Field	Description
Classification Code	The unique material classification code used for grouping project components and standard materials.
Description	The description of a material classification.
Material Category	Standard Material Category (SMC): Indicates whether a material is controlled as a standard stock material or a project related material. The valid categories are defined in the s00001 Standard Material Categories screen.
Material Special Group	The ID of a group with special information about materials. The selected group is considered default for a material associated with a specific material classification through the s20010 Project Components and s20011 Standard Materials screens. The valid groups are defined in the s20002 Material Special Groups screen.
Unit	The default unit for a material associated with a specific material classification through the s20010 Project Components and s20011 Standard Materials screens. The valid units are defined in the s00010 Units screen.
Technical Responsible	The default technical handler responsible for a material associated with a specific material classification through the s20010 Project Components and s20011 Standard Materials screens. The valid users are defined and marked as active in the s00003 Users screen.
Status	Indicates the status of a material classification code. If the Status checkbox is selected, the material classification code is available for use throughout AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

Field	Description
Material Id	The ID of a standard material related to a classification code.
Description	The description of a standard material related to a classification code.

Field	Description
Project	The ID of a project related to a project component.
System	The ID of a system related to a project component.
Project Component Id	The ID of a project component related to a classification code.
Description	The description of a project component related to a classification code.
