Copy a part list to a drawing

Copy a part list to from the source drawing to another drawing within the same project.

1. Navigate to the s21000 Part Lists screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Part Lists grid, select a part list you want to copy.

4. On the s21000 menu, in the Copy group, select To Drawing.

   The d0019 Copy Part List to Drawing dialog appears.

5. From the Target Drawing dropdown, select the ID of the target drawing.

6. (Optional) In the Options section, perform any of the following:

   • To include the part list items in all purchase requirements in the s50022 Material Status List screen and the s50017 Buyers Queue screen, select the Check For Construction checkbox.

     In the copied part list, the For Construction checkbox is selected for the part list items.

   • To include the part list items as a requisition in a part list, a delivery request list, or a picking list, select the Check For Requisition checkbox.

     In the copied part list, the For Requisition checkbox is selected for the part list items.

7. To validate the part list copy, select Test.

   A pop-up window displaying the test result appears.

8. Perform one of the following as required:

   • If the validation is successful, select Ok.

     The pop-up window closes.

   • If the validation is not successful, select Ok, and select the Details tab for more information. Perform the necessary actions and validate the copy again.

9. Select Copy.

   The number of part lists and items that are copied, not copied, and included in the copy are listed in the Summary tab. For more information, see the Details tab.

   The part list is copied from the source drawing to the target drawing.

10. To close the d0019 Copy Part List to Drawing dialog, select Exit.

11. (Optional) To modify the copied part list according to your requirements, perform the following:

    1. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

    2. In the Part Lists grid, select the part list copy, and modify according to your requirements.

    3. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
