Cancel a material requirement in a Delivery Request List (DRL) when the material is no longer needed. You cannot cancel a material requirement if the status of the DRL is Picking List Picked. You can close a DRL requirement entirely without impacting the outstanding quantity of the linked material take-off or part list. When you cancel a material requirement for a DRL, the quantity covered by the DRL remains unchanged, even if all the requested materials are issued but not used.

  1. Navigate to the s21001 Delivery Request Lists screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

  3. In the Delivery Request List grid, select a row.

  4. On the s21001 menu, in the Options group, select Close Out DRL.

The d0273 Close Out DRL dialog appears.

  5. To refresh the dialog, select the F5 key.

In the Close Out DRL grid, the DRL items appear.

  6. In the Close Out DRL grid, select one or more rows.

  7. From the Cancel Requirement dropdown, select one of the following:

    • All Line Items: To cancel the requirement for all items in the DRL.

    • Selected Line Items only: To cancel the requirement for the selected items in the DRL.

    The Disposition field is updated.

  8. (Optional) To reset the value in the Disposition field, from the Reset dropdown, select one of the following:

    • All Line Items: To reset the value of all items in the DRL.

    • Selected Line Items only: To reset the value of selected items in the DRL.

  9. To close the dialog, select Ok.

In the Line Item grid, a new DRL item is created for the cancelled material, the NP (No Pick) checkbox is selected, and the Requested Quantity field is updated.

  10. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
