In the CustomProperty grid, the following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Property Name |
The name of a custom property. |

Custom Property Caption |
The description for a custom property. |
|
Position |
The position number of a custom property in a custom tab. |
|
Value List |
The value list related to a custom property. The values are defined in the s00046 Custom Property Value List Setup screen. |
|
Custom Entity |
The name of a custom entity related to a custom property. |
|
Type |
The type of a custom property. The values are: Boolean, Date, Long Text, and so on. |
|
Length |
The length of characters related to a custom property. If the value in the Type field is Text, then the Length field is a mandatory field. |
|
Unique |
Indicates a custom property is unique. |
|
Mandatory |
Indicates a custom property is mandatory in the related screen in which the custom property appears. |
|
Visible |
Indicates a custom property is visible in the related screen in which the custom property appears. |
|
Applicable For |
The entity for which a custom property is applicable. The Applicable For field is only required for Activity Version and Purchase Order Item entities. |
