Install Windows SDK

To download the Windows SDK, refer to the Windows SDK Download. For an offline installer, select the .ISO option.

Run the installer and follow the instructions.

When you are prompted to select components to install, select .NET Development Tools or NET Framework 4.8 Software Development Kit (title is different depending on SDK version).

Note: The Service Trace Viewer Tool (SvcTraceViewer.exe) is part of the Windows SDK .NET Development Tools and is required to view WCF trace log files (*.svclog). If installing the Windows SDK is not desired (for example, due to security considerations), it can be omitted without impacting AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management functionality. However, in this case, .svclog files cannot be opened through the Service Trace Viewer Tool.
