Apply default values for the transfer of an item

Assign default values for the To Project, the To System, and the Remark fields when you transfer an item.

1. Navigate to the s60021 Move Material Between Projects screen.

2. In the Material To Transfer control block, from the Owner Project dropdown, select the ID of the source project.

3. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

4. In the Default Values control block, perform the following:

   1. From the Project dropdown, select the ID of the project to which you want to transfer an item.

   2. From the System dropdown, select the ID of the system to which you want to transfer the item.

   3. In the Remark field, enter the comments related to the transfer of the item.

5. In the Move Material Between Projects grid, select one or more rows.

   For each item that you want to transfer, in the Move Material Between Projects grid, in the General tab, in the Quantity field, ensure a value is defined.

6. On the s60021 menu, in the Material Transfer Options group, from the Apply Default Values dropdown, perform one of the following:

   • To set default values for all the items, select All Material.

   • To set default values for the selected items, select All Selected Material.

   • To set default values for the items for which the To Project field is empty, select All Material without "To Project".

   In the Move Material Between Projects grid, in the General tab, the To Project, the To System, and the Remarks fields are updated for the selected items.

7. On the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.

   The default values are applied and the selected items are transferred to the target project.
