SI

Status Indicator: Indicates the status of a record related to validation errors, warnings, and updates.

Defined By

The ID of a user who created a record.

Defined At

The date and time when a record was created.

Updated By

The ID of a user who updated a record.

Updated At

The date and time when a record was updated.

Updated Application

The application used to update a record.

Defined Application

The application used to create a record.

Multipurpose fields for storing company specific piping Material Take-Off (MTO) attributes.

Current Project control block

Field

Description

Project

The ID of a project related to a piping MTO line.

Description

The description of a project related to a piping MTO line.

Status

Indicates the status of a project. If the project is closed, you cannot update any information for the project.

Template

Indicates a project is a template project. A template project is a standard project that can help set up projects with the same method and structure as the template project. If the Template checkbox is selected, the project is not included in material status calculations or budget calculations.

The following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Discipline

The ID and description of a drawing discipline related to a piping MTO line.

Construction Area

The ID and description of a construction area related to a piping MTO line.

Pipeline Number

The ID of a pipeline related to a piping MTO line.

Specification

The ID and description of a specification related to the pipeline defined in the Pipeline Number field.

Version

The version number of a piping MTO line. When you reopen a piping MTO line, the version number increases by one.

MR Number

Material Requisition Number: The ID of the Material Requisition (MR) in which all the items related to a piping MTO line are allocated when you generate a Technical Material Requisition (TMR), based on the setup defined in the s40001 Requisition Register screen.

You can allocate individual MTO items to different TMRs by selecting a different MR for each MTO item.

MTO-Line

The ID of a pipeline for which a piping MTO line is created.

Sheet Number

The sheet number in a drawing related to a piping MTO line. To update the Sheet Number field, in the MTO Type field, ensure you select an MTO type for which the value in the MTO Quality field is Actual.

Model Status

The status of a pipeline within a 3D modeller such as AVEVA E3D.

MTO Status

The status of a piping MTO line. The values are:

  • No MTO: Indicates MTO items are not allocated to the piping MTO line.

  • Working: Indicates MTO items are allocated to the piping MTO line.

  • Confirmed: Indicates the pipeline and the construction area related to a piping MTO line is confirmed and the piping MTO line is ready for approval. The Confirmed status is applicable only for MTO types for which the value in the MTO Quality field is Actual.

  • Approved: Indicates the piping MTO line is approved and the working quantity of all the MTO items is copied as the approved quantity. The MTO items are available for requisition and construction.

  • Superseded: Indicates the actual MTO for a piping MTO line is approved and the estimate is superseded. The Superseded status is applicable only for MTO types for which the value in the MTO Quality field is Estimate.

  • Retired: Indicates the piping MTO line and all the related MTO items are retired. If you retire an approved piping MTO line, the approved quantity for all the MTO items related to the piping MTO line are updated to 0 and the material requirements are removed from the s50022 Material Status List screen.

Issuance with Un-issued Sub-Assy/Fab

The issuance method of a piping MTO line when the piping MTO line contains sub-assemblies and fabricates. A sub-assembly is part of a drawing. There are three values:

  • Allow: You can approve the piping MTO line even if the related fabricates are not issued.

  • Auto & Issue Open Items: You can approve the piping MTO line, and automatically issue the related fabricates which are not issued.

  • Deny: You cannot issue the piping MTO line if the related fabricates are not issued.

MTO Type

The ID of an MTO type related to a piping MTO line.

MTO Quality

The quality of the MTO type defined in the MTO Type field. The values are Actual and Estimate.

MTO Locked for Updates

Indicates a piping MTO line is locked for updates. Only the user who locked the piping MTO line can make changes. To make changes, you can unlock the piping MTO line.

On Hold Reason

The reason for the on hold state of a piping MTO line.

System

The ID of a system for the pipeline related to a piping MTO line.

Drawing No

The drawing number related to a piping MTO line.

Drawing Id

The system generated ID of a drawing related to a piping MTO line. The value in the Drawing Id is automatically generated using a combination of the values in the Drawing No and the Sheet Number fields.

Drawing Revision

The revision number of the drawing defined in the Drawing No field.

Ref Drawing Number

The ID of a reference drawing related to a pipeline which includes the MTO line defined in the MTO Line field, such as a General Arrangement drawing.

Pipe Routing

The ID and description of a pipe routing related to a piping MTO line. A pipe routing is the reference data to identify a feature of pipe work routing that affects pipe work erection costs.

Installation Norms Hours

The number of hours required to install all the items in a piping MTO line.

Total Weight of Part List

The total weight of all the items in a piping MTO line. The total weight of a piping MTO line is the sum of the values in the Total Weight field of each piping MTO item.

Line Items Without Weight

The number of items in a piping MTO line for which the weight is not defined in the related material catalogue.

Insulated

Indicates one or more items in a piping MTO line is insulated.

Painted

Indicates one or more items in a piping MTO line is painted.

Allow Incomplete Spec

Indicates you can add incomplete specification items to a piping MTO line.

In the Del Des tab, in the Del Des grid, the following table describes the fields in the General tab.

Description

Delivery Designation

The ID and description of a delivery designation related to a piping MTO line. The valid values are defined in the s22012 Delivery Designations screen.

Site

The ID and description of a site where the items in a piping MTO line are delivered.

Activity

The ID and description of a construction activity for which the items in a piping MTO line are delivered.

Activity start date correction

The allowed time difference between the planned start date of an activity and the actual start date of the activity.

Delivery Date

The delivery date for the items in a piping MTO line.

Line Number

The unique number to identify the individual items within a piping MTO line.

Ver

Version: The version number of a piping MTO line at which the related piping MTO item was last updated.

Imp

Implied: Indicates a piping MTO item is added as an implied item from a rule defined in the s21016 Implied Item Rules screen.

Specification

The name and description of a specification added as a piping MTO item.

Catalogue

The ID of a catalogue related to the specification defined in the Specification field.

Branch Code

Indicates a material is resolved through the branch table related to the specification defined in the Specification field.

Short Code

The code to identify a component within a specification.

Option Code

The option code related to the short code defined in the Short Code field.

Size Attribute

The name of an attribute used to specify the size of a specification.

Size 1–Size 4

The size attribute values for a specification.

Size Unit

The unit of measure in which the size of a specification is defined.

Representation

The attribute representation used to specify the size of a specification.

Component Type

The component type related to the specification defined in the Specification field.

Delivery Designation

The ID and description of a delivery designation related to a piping MTO item.

Material Category

The ID of a material category related to a piping MTO item.

Type

Material Type: The code to identify the grouping of a piping MTO item, for example, pipes, cables, and so on.

Material Dimension

The physical dimensions of a piping MTO item.

Item Id

The ID of a material added as a piping MTO item.

Description

The description of a material added as a piping MTO item.

Working Quantity

The required quantity of a piping MTO item.

Issued Quantity

The quantity of a piping MTO item issued through a picking list.

Reserved Quantity

The quantity of a piping MTO item reserved through a Delivery Request List (DRL) or a picking list.

Engineering On Hold Qty

The quantity of a piping MTO item in the on hold state. You can update the Engineering On Hold Qty field only if the value in the MTO Status field of the piping MTO line related to the piping MTO item is Working or Confirmed.

On Hold Reason

The reason for the on hold state of a piping MTO item.

Unit

The unit of measure for a piping MTO item.

Set Quantity

The number of piping MTO items in a set for a specification component.

Confirmed Quantity

The confirmed quantity of a piping MTO item. The value is calculated as the difference between the values in the Working Quantity and the Engineering On Hold Qty fields.

Last Issued Qty

Approved Quantity: The quantity of a piping MTO item required in construction. The value is calculated as the difference between the values in the Working Quantity and the Engineering On Hold Qty fields.

Previous Approved Quantity

The quantity of a piping MTO item approved in the previous approval process.

Last Estimate Quantity

The last approved estimate quantity of a piping MTO item.

For Requisition

Indicates a piping MTO item exists as a requisition in a part list, a DRL, or a picking list. If the For Requisition checkbox is cleared, the piping MTO item is not available for requisition in the s50022 Material Status List screen.

For Construction

Indicates a piping MTO item is for construction. If the For Construction checkbox is cleared, all the purchase requirements for the piping MTO item is cancelled and not included as material requirements in the s50022 Material Status List screen and the s50017 Buyers Queue screen.

Supply Responsibility

The ID of a supply responsibility rule related to a piping MTO item as defined in the s21018 Supply Responsibility Matrix screen. Based on the supply responsibility rule defined in the Supply Responsibility field, the For Construction and the For Requisition checkboxes of the piping MTO item are updated.

MR Number

Material Requisition Number: The ID of the MR in which the piping MTO item is allocated when you generate a TMR based on the setup defined in the s40001 Requisition Register screen.

Site

The ID of a site where the piping MTO item is required.

Site Rule

The ID of a site allocation rule related to a piping MTO item. The valid values are defined in the s21019 Site Allocation Setup screen.

Unit Weight

The default weight of a material per unit.

Line Item Unit Weight

The unit weight of the material added as a piping MTO item.

Total Weight

The total weight of a piping MTO item. The total weight is the value in the Line Item Unit Weight field multiplied with the value in the Working Quantity field.

Activity

The ID of an activity related to a piping MTO item.

Description

The description of an activity related to a piping MTO item.

Activity Correction

The allowed time difference between the planned start date of an activity and the actual start date of the activity related to a piping MTO item.

Delivery Date

The delivery date for a piping MTO item.

System

The ID of a system related to a piping MTO item.

Norms Qty

The quantity used for norms calculation.

Norms Unit

The unit of measure for the value in the Norms Qty field.

Insulated

Indicates a piping MTO item is insulated.

Painted

Indicates a piping MTO item is painted.

Material Preparation

The material preparation milestone that specifies which preparation template is used for the material added as a piping MTO item.
