Create and share a screen layout among users in your user group

Create a data grid screen layout. If you have the necessary user rights, you can share the screen layout with the users in your user group.

  1. Navigate to the required screen.

  2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

    In the data grid, records appear.

  3. Right-select any of the column headers and select Column Organizer.

    The d0074 Column Organizer dialog appears.

  4. Select or clear the required checkboxes to show or hide the columns respectively. You can also use the search field to filter columns.

    Note: The Custom Property Values (CPVs) and disabled CPVs cannot be saved as part of the screen layout.

  5. To view the data grid with updated columns, select Ok.

  6. On the View menu, in the Layout group, select Save.

    The Screen Layout pop-up window appears.

  7. In the Name field, enter the name for the screen layout.

  8. (Optional) To share the screen layout with users in your user group, select the Shared checkbox.

    The screen layout is shared to the users in your user group.

    Note: You cannot un-share a shared screen layout. However, to prevent the use of a shared screen layout, you can delete the shared screen layout.

  9. Select Save.

    The screen layout is saved.
