Set an item in a fabricate part list to on hold state

Set an item in a fabricate part list to the on hold state to indicate that the item is not ready for requisition or purchase due to design changes, requirement changes, and so on.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, complete the following:

• Ensure you save all the changes in the fabricate part list.

• Ensure the external status of the fabricate part list is PL is Open.

To set an item in a fabricate part list to on hold state

1. Navigate to the s21015 Fabricate Part List screen.

2. To refresh the screen, select the F5 key.

3. In the Part Lists grid, select a row.

4. In the Part List Items grid, select a row.

5. On the s21015 menu, in the Status group, from the OnHold dropdown, select Selected Items On Hold.

   The d0328 On Hold Reason dialog appears.

6. In the d0328 On Hold Reason dialog, in the On Hold Reason field, enter the reason for the on hold state of the fabricate part list item.

7. Select Yes.

   In the Part List Items grid, in the General tab, the On Hold Reason field is updated for the selected part list item. Additionally, the value in the Working Quantity field is copied to the Engineering On Hold Qty field.

8. To save the changes, on the Home menu, in the Record group, select Save.
